Base Oil 100SN (Group I)

Base Oil 100SN is a low-viscosity solvent-refined Group I base stock. Its light viscosity and good solvency make it the usual first choice for spindle oils, low-viscosity hydraulic fluids, chain oils and general industrial lubricants where fast flow and additive solubility matter more than high-load performance.

Like other Group I stocks, 100SN is produced by solvent refining and dewaxing, so it keeps the aromatic content that gives Group I oils their strong solvency and good response to many additive packages. It is normally blended with heavier grades such as 150SN and 250SN to reach a target viscosity.

Typical applications: spindle and machine oils, hydraulic fluids, rust-preventive and process oils, metalworking formulations, and as a diluent for heavier base stocks. Physical data, packing and availability are listed in the TDS, available on request together with the SDS.
